Robert has extensive experience in executive talent management (coaching, mediation, leadership development and succession management). Additionally, he supports organisations in building and executing people strategies especially at a time of major change and HR organisation and transformation.
He is known for his pragmatic approach, creating momentum and enthusiasm, bringing the best out of people and teams – all helped by his positive outlook and boundless energy! He is extraordinarily good at creating clarity and simplifying complexity so that people, teams and organisations have a clear sense of where they are going and are able to make rapid and efficient progress.
Robert is an experienced Board level HR Director whose roles in the NHS, IBM and Capgemini have required him to lead the corporate HR services together with significant general management and client service responsibilities in UK, Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
Robert is a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), has a Masters Degree in Manpower Management, is a certificate Workplace Mediator (TCM), a qualified executive coach and is a qualified Health Service Manager (IHSM). He is also Visiting Professor in Organisation and Human Resources at Portsmouth University Business School. He lives in Hampshire and in his spare time he sets up and runs fundraising events for the community Charity HomeStart as well as enjoying theatre, socializing and anything involving fresh air and exercise.
